Collaboration of the Department with other National Organizations:
|
|
The Department of Forestry has good co-operation with other
organizations like State Forest Research Institute, Chimpu, GB Pant
Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, State Forest
Departments, State Agriculture and Horticulture Departments, Regional
Research Laboratory, BSI, ZSI, Animal Husbandry Department and Arunachal
University. Interactions with these Institutes / Departments have helped in
conducting some of the practical components of the courses and research
work. The department also collaborates with JNU (New Delhi), NEHU (Shillong),
HNB Garhwal University (Srinagar Garhwal), Arunachal University, Nagaland
University, Forest Research Institute (Dehra Dun) and Assam University (Silchar).
National Zoological Park, New Delhi, Pakke Tiger Reserve, Arunachal Pradesh,
Kaziranga National Park, Assam and Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat,
in its research programmes as well as students study tours.
